Quarterly Employee Spotlight

 


Travis Carswll started with PHAE as a Cook Operator but is now working as a D&E Operator.  He is responsible for T.O. and Dryer operation and running tests to verify that the Distillation, Evaporation, and Dryer systems are in spec.  Travis was born and raised in P-Burg.  He has a 9 year old son, Tristin.  In his free time he likes to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles, and likes NASCAR.

                                             


Dan Denio was born in Stockton but came to Phillipsburg in ’92 when his family moved here.  After graduation he attended NWKTC in Goodland for Automotive Technology.  He then went to work at the Kansas Readiness Sustainment Maintenance Site at Fort Riley.  Dan started here as a Cook Operator but is now a D&E Operator.  He still works on cars occasionally but mainly enjoys spending his free time on his Harley.


Phil Grieb is originally from Logan.  Phil spent 4 years in the Air Force and flew reconnaissance missions out of Japan.  He attended college in Syracuse, NY.  He and his wife Bobbi have been married for 37 yrs. They have twins – 1 boy, 1girl.  Their son, Drew, lives in Denver.  Their daughter, Dreya, lives in Branson, MO.  Phil and Bobbi decided to retire to Logan five years ago.  Phil worked for Morrison & Knuteson Construction for 17 years and Bobbi worked as a corporate Para-Legal.  They enjoyed a short retirement, but both wanted to get back to work.  Phil runs our Scale-house.  Every load coming or going from PHAE goes through Phil.  He grades the grain, verifies load numbers, and make sure all paperwork is correct.  Phil’s variety of experience is a great asset for PHAE.
